Welcome to my home online…

width="207"I’m a blogger, journalist and Rotary Ambassadorial Scholar from Maui.

I’ve worked in newsrooms across the United States, including at The Honolulu Star-Advertiser, Pomona College Magazine, and The Chronicle of Higher Education. I led a large staff of reporters and editors as Co-Editor in the Chief of the The Student Life, the newspaper of the Claremont Colleges. And I most recently served as graduate student Webmaster for the University of Sydney’s Department of Government and International Relations, where I worked with faculty members to implement an overhaul of the departmental website.

I live online. I have extensive experience with social networking—whether it’s building up a Twitter following for @takepart, producing YouTube clips for The Star-Advertiser, or blogging for Wired Campus. I have also had experience with Web development as a copy-writer for ÉTIK|Lab in Los Angeles.

I graduated from Pomona College in Claremont, California in May 2010 with a bachelors in Politics, Philosophy & Economics. I also earned a Masters in International Studies at the University of Sydney in Australia in 2012, where I focused on Asia-Pacific politics.

When I’m not in front of the computer screen, I enjoy traveling, concerts and good books. The beach ain’t bad either.

Have a look around, and feel free to drop me a line!
